AFRO-FUSION singer and musician Msiz’kay has teamed up with emerging local producer Kadesky for a new single titled “Angi’phindi Futhi”, which is set to be released on September 4.
The collaboration came about after the two artistes met by chance at a shop in Bulawayo’s Central Business District where they exchanged contacts before eventually finding themselves working on a song together.
“One thing led to another and we ended up working on a song together. Fast forward to now and that song is coming out on Friday,” said Msiz’kay.
“Angi’phindi Futhi” is a three-step Afro House collaboration featuring Msiz’kay, Kadesky and Lunadra. The track is built around an infectious rhythmic groove, atmospheric production and expressive vocals, blending contemporary Afro House with distinctly African musical textures.
According to Msiz’Kay, the song captures the feeling of moving forward with renewed energy while also shining a spotlight on emerging Zimbabwean talent.
Kadesky, who specialises in Amapiano, Afro House and Hip Hop, brings a youthful and versatile production style to the collaboration. His production approach is complemented by the maturity and distinctive vocals of Msiz’kay, creating a blend that the artistes hope will resonate with listeners.
Kadesky has been steadily establishing himself in Zimbabwe’s music industry, having already released an album and several singles as he continues to build his profile as a young producer.
