Mtizwa getting it right at Rhinos

Takudzwa Chitsiga Sports Reporter
STANFORD “Stix” Mtizwa appears to be getting it right at Black Rhinos who have now opened a six-point cushion at the top of the Northern Region Division One League.

The former Zimbabwe international was appointed Rhinos coach at the beginning of the season and so far his men have been the stand out team in the league.

Their latest victims, ZRP Morris, were beaten 1-2 at One Commando last weekend.

Goals from Wilson Chakanyuka in the 46th minute and another strike by Martin Mine in the 66th minute powered the army side to victory.

Rhinos have a six-point advantage over nearest rivals Gunners, who are the feeder club of Premiership giants caps united, Cranborne Bullets and Golden Valley, who are all on 19 points after 11 games.

Also creating waves are Yadah FC, who leapfrogged Buffaloes into top place in the Eastern Region Division One League after another irresistible showing at their Waterfalls home at the weekend.

Yadah have been unstoppable at home and hammered Gutu 4-0.
