THE Munhumutapa Challenge Cup has reached the Round of 16 after the draw on Wednesday produced eight intriguing fixtures to look forward to as the inaugural tournament moves toward the quarter-finals.
The draw features teams from across Zimbabwean football, including Premier Soccer League sides, lower-division clubs and a developmental team, all still competing for the knockout title.
The Round of 16 will be played over the weekend of August 28-30, with the road to the final becoming clearer now.
The competition has produced surprises, with lower-league sides showing the gap in Zimbabwean football can be bridged in knockout matches.

Ngezi Platinum Stars v Herentals FC, FC Platinum v Blackrock, Chilli FC v Bulawayo Chiefs, Jordan FC vs Hardrock, FC Hunters v Hwange FC, Triangle FC v Blanket Mine, CAPS United v Manica Diamonds, Scottland v MWOS U19.
