Mupanga wins shooting trophy

OSCAR Mupanga won the 2017 Zimbabwe National Army Chief of Staff All Comers competition trophy after amassing 219 points at Cleveland Riffle Range yesterday.

The Presidential Guard men was in top form as he claimed the best shootist and champion at arms accolades as well as the AK rifle match and the overall team winners. For his efforts Mupanga went home $530 richer. Mupanga faced competition from Alexio Badze who went on to win the top shootist trophy with 205 points.

Tendai Mukuze dominated the uniformed forces as she won the top shootist on 159 points while presidential guard Team C won the team events on 750 points.

Harare City’s Agnes Godza won the civilian women’s top shootist before coming out fourth in the Champion at Arms.
