Murambadoro replaces Kapini at Amazulu

FORMER Warriors goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro has replaced Tapuwa Kapini at AmaZulu FC in the South African Premiership. Murambadoro completed his loan move on Friday.

He was previously with Mpumalanga Black Aces who are home to Tinashe Nengomasha and Tendai Ndoro.

AmaZulu acquired the services of the big goalkeeper after the team released Kapini.

“We decided to rope in an experienced goalkeeper for the team as AmaZulu are languishing at the bottom of the table and need some good results.

“Our position in the Absa Premiership is disgusting. We need to start collecting many points. With the acquisition of Murambadoro I believe the team will start to do better,” said AmaZulu head coach

Steve Barker.

He said he admires the Zimbabwean’s style of play and his experience could be key in the team’s revival.

Murambadoro has previously played in Israel and for Bidvest Wits in South Africa.

Barker said the contract had room for renewal.

Carlington Nyadombo, a Zimbabwean, is the club’s captain.
