THE Murare Car Rental 10th Anniversary Marathon is underway in Bulawayo this morning, with runners taking to the streets for a milestone edition of the popular road-running event.
The Bulawayo event features three race categories — the 5km, 10km and 21km, giving participants of different fitness and experience levels an opportunity to take part.
The 10th anniversary edition has brought together competitive athletes, fitness enthusiasts and members of the community, with runners looking to make their mark on the landmark occasion.
The early-morning action is expected to produce an exciting battle, particularly in the longer 21km race, as athletes chase honours while others take part simply for the challenge and experience.
