Murder suspect Muvevi set for High Court trial in March 2026

Jason Muvevi, the murder suspect facing four charges of murder and four counts of attempted murder, will stand trial at the High Court next year.

The trial has been scheduled to proceed on a continuous roll from March 16 to March 20, 2026.

Muvevi, who has been in custody since his arrest, is accused of committing a series of serious crimes that drew significant public attention.

He had been committed to the Chikurubi Psychatric Unit for some time but latest medical examination revealed that he is now fit to stand trial.
