Andy Muridzo will tomorrow begin sampling songs from his upcoming album “Munondo” when he performs at Club Manucho in Waterfalls. The album will be launched in April and it will feature a number of collaborations. This week Muridzo released a collaboration with Selmor Mtukudzi titled “Mbende”.

The collaboration has the traditional beat that Muridzo is known for and it is likely to prepare the way for the new album. Muridzo’s manager Gift Petro said they are putting final touches to the album and will organise a massive launch in April.

“He is spending most of his time in the studio working on the album. It will be ready by next month and we will launch it in April. It has been a long time since we performed in at Zindoga shops and we are happy to return to the venue. It was one of our regular venues in previous years and we will reunite with our fans,” said Petro.

“We are inviting them to come and feel the new songs that we are working on. We are polishing up some of the songs and we want our fans to enjoy the new product and know what we are preparing for them.”

Club Manucho owner Emmanuel Mawarire said patrons have been requesting for Muridzo’s return to their stage.

“People are waiting for the show. It is coming by public demand and we expect a good day. Andy has promised a memorable show. I have also put in place everything for the event,” said Mawarire.
