GUNNERS’ title credentials will once again come under a stern test when they face Mushowani Stars in a tricky World Navi Northern Region Division One tie at Lafarge today. The showdown pits the top team in the league against the side in third place. Mushowani Stars coach Paul “Popopo” Chimalizeni said this was a big game for his team. “The team is in good shape and we are expecting to come out with a positive result,” said Chimalizeni.
“To be the best you have to beat the best and so we will fight hard and make sure we produce a positive result.

“We are coming from a win in a cup game and I hope that will inspire the players.”
Mushowani beat Lake Harvest in the Yadah TV Cup quarter-finals in Kariba.

“We can play any team. We are well prepared and it will be an advantage for us to play away from home,” said Chimalizeni.
“We will not be under any pressure.

“Our supporters back home demand results so playing away will give us relief and I hope the players will do well.”
