JAMAL MUSIALA collapsed in the sweltering heat as Bayern Munich hosted RB Leipzig in a pre-season friendly.
The youngster’s team-mate, Ismael Saibari, spotted him looking worse for wear and managed to sprint over and catch him before he hit the ground.
The pair had combined for the final goal of the match just two minutes prior, with Saibari setting up Musiala to make it 3-1.
But Musiala’s match was wrapped up by the 83rd minute, when 33C sunshine got the better of him.
Footage showed Musiala looking woozy and disorientated while waiting for the match to restart after his goal.
Moments later he became unsteady on his feet, and fell to the ground in stages, helped by Saibari and Joshua Kimmich, who was also swiftly on the scene.
Medics sprinted onto the pitch as fans inside the Allianz Arena watched on nervously.
Musiala, 23, lay still on the ground while receiving treatment as fellow Bayern stars crowded round.
And there was a collective sigh of relief when medics flashed the thumbs-up.
Musiala was helped off the pitch as fans chanted his name from the stands.
Bayern supporters will be desperate for Musiala to make it to the start of the campaign fit and healthy after his horror leg break during pre-season last year.
That kept him out of action for more than six months and limited him to just 15 league appearances last term.
Bayern and Leipzig were briefly level pegging when Brighton loanee Brajan Gruda cancelled out Luis Diaz‘s early opener in the 53rd minute.
But Nathaniel Brown and Musiala put daylight between the two sides and clinched the Telekom Cup for the Munich giants – Sun.
