Music stars head for SA

enjoyed international rappers Lil Wayne and Drake last weekend, more big stars are set to hit our shores.
Rhythm & Blues star Joe Thomas, Boney M and UB40 are set to dazzle local audiences from tomorrow until Tuesday.

Arriving tomorrow, Boney M has four shows at Sun City, Johannesburg and Cape Town.
The Boney M tour starts tomorrow at the Sun City Superbowl in Pilanesberg. It then moves to Carnival City in Brakpan on Saturday and Sunday.
The Saturday show at Carnival City is sold out.

The group ends their South African tour on Tuesday at Grand West in Cape Town.
Featuring original lead singer Liz Mitchell the group is still a phenomenal live act drawing crowds across the world. Mitchell was born in Jamaica and moved to London at the age of 11.

Meanwhile, American R&B singer Joe Thomas kicks off his local tour at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg tomorrow. The next day, Thomas will be performing in Durban’s ICC.
In Mpumalanga, fans will be rocking to the reggae and ska-laden melodies of the London-based UB40.

The group will be live at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.
UB40 will be supported by local musicians such as Dave van Vuuren, Big Nuz, Jamali, Goldfish, Magic Soul, Natalie R, DJ Jaydon D. – Sowetan.
