KAIZER Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter believes it is just a matter of time before striker Knowledge Musona hits the right note.
Baxter expressed his confidence in the player after their 1-1 draw against Moroka Swallows on Tuesday night in which Musona’s goal drought continued.
The Amakhosi coach remains confident that the Zimbabwean will find his form.
“Knowledge gets himself into very good positions like he did again this evening. I have no doubt though that he will come good and find that calm finish,” said Baxter in an interview published on the club’s official website.
The “Smiling Assassin” is yet to score his official goal this season after four games following his season-long loan spell to Chiefs from German club TSG Hoffenheim.
Musona missed several chances but was behind the penalty that was converted by Bernard Parker, to give Chiefs the equaliser.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates striker Kermit Erasmus says he is delighted with where he is currently at in his career.
The former SuperSport United attacking midfielder revealed his excitement after being rewarded with a national team call-up by Bafana Bafana coach, Gordon Igesund, for the crucial 2014 Soccer World Cup qualifier against Botswana early next month.
“I am in a right space at the moment, I have not been happier than I am right now,” Erasmus told the Orlando Pirates website.
The 23-year-old player is not part of the Buccaneers squad participating in the CAF Champions league due to his involvement in the competition early this year with his former team, SuperSport United, but he is determined to work harder in order to earn his starting berth. -Supersport.
