MUTARE Select will be in the thick of things when the Zambezi Challenge Cup gets underway at Harare Sports Club in the capital tomorrow (Saturday).

Tadiwanashe Nyamundanda among other stars, the select side is aiming at making their presence felt at the prestigious competition.
Manicaland Rugby Board chair Casper Bandi said they are aiming at making their presence felt in the cup competition.
“We hope not only to go to participate but also compete like we did last year. We are sending a strong Mutare Select outfit. We have been having Manicaland Paramount Garment 7s for the past 3 weeks and our coach Armson Makumbe has wide pool of selection. We should be having a strong squad. Yes it will be a youthful squad and l am sure our coach is doing everything possible to make sure the team will do well this weekend,” he said.
Zambezi Cheetahs, Kenya Morans, Zambia, Pitbulls, Police Defenders, Matebeleland, Old Georgians, Old Hararians make up the list of men’s team in the competition while Warthog, Lion, Rhino, Zambia 1,Zambia 2 and Botswana are the participating women’s teams.
