CHIMANIMANI West Member of the National Assembly, Cde Munacho Mutezo and his two colleagues, Mrs Jane Knight-Mabuto and Councillor Joe Zviuya were left to leave another day after Zanu-PF Politburo referred back their indiscipline cases to the provincial disciplinary committee.

The three were reported to be active members of the recently formed Zimbabwe People First Party fronted by Dr Joice Mujuru.

Cde Mutezo was among delegates who attended a Zimbabwe People First Party meeting held at a Mutare hotel recently.

Zanu-PF national spokesperson, Cde Simon Khaya-Moyo emerged from the Politburo meeting that was held at Zanu-PF headquarters in Harare on Wednesday to announce that Manicaland provincial disciplinary committee which is chaired by Cde Joseph Mujaji should deal with their cases.

Speaking during the Zanu-PF inter-district youth conference held at Marymount Teachers’ College last Sunday, provincial youth chairman, Cde Mubuso Chinguno, had called for the ouster of Cdes Mutezo and Zviuya, saying they had openly declared their loyalty to ZPF.

“In Chimanimani West, we have pending disciplinary cases of Cdes Mutezo and Zviuya who are openly campaigning for Zimbabwe People First.

“We want these people expelled from the party because they are no-longer part and parcel of us,” he said.

Zanu-PF provincial chairman, Dr Samuel Undenge also chipped in and said they had written four letters to the national disciplinary committee regarding the issue of Cde Mutezo.
