ZIMBABWEAN professional golfers Nyasha Muyambo and Robson Chinhoi had a decent start at the Gary and Vivienne Player Challenge in the Sunshine Tour at White River Country Club in South Africa yesterday.

The duo is part of the R2 million tournament which will be played over three rounds.

Muyambo, who teed off in the morning yesterday is tied on position 30 after a two-under-par round while Chinhoi who missed the cut in last week’s Bairns Challenge is on level par.

If the Zimbabweans manage to finish in the top 26 they will get an automatic invite to the Gary and Vivienne Player Invitational at Sun City in November, where a collection of professional golfers, celebrities, sports stars and business leaders will come together to raise funds for The Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation.
