MWOS derailed Harare City’s championship challenge when they held them to a 1-1 draw in a ZIFA Northern Region Division One Soccer League match at Ngoni Stadium on Saturday.

Harare City are now on third position and trail log leaders Black Mambas by eight points with seven games still to be played.

Chegutu Pirates moved into second place after they got the better of Karoi United 3-0 at Pfupajena.

Dzinza, as Chegutu Pirates are affectionately known, are now seven points behind “Warumwa Warumwa” who managed maximum points by beating PAM 1-0 at Muriel Mine.

Shamva Mine’s relegation worriers were further compounded when they were beaten 1-0 by Trojan Stars while Chinhoyi Stars got maximum points through a 1-0 win over ZRP Harare.
