The Madzorodze family, based in Zimbabwe, is reeling from the troubling disappearance of their beloved family member, Patience Madzorodze, who was residing in South Africa.
According to the family, all attempts to contact her have been futile, as her mobile phones are unreachable, sparking concerns for her safety and well-being.
Patience Madzorodze had been living with her Nigerian boyfriend, Ikechukwu Nwokorie, in Sunnyside, South Africa.
The family has disclosed that they received distressing reports indicating that the couple had become victims of xenophobic attacks due to their nationalities.
Sources suggest that their establishment, comprising a supermarket and an NGO, had become targets of harassment by Dudula activists, some of whom allegedly demanded bribes for the continuation of their business operations.
Adding to the family’s distress, it has been revealed that Ikechukwu Nwokorie’s former wife, Sandy Mfolo, has been involved in harassing the family. Reports indicate that her abusive behavior led to the dissolution of their marriage, further complicating the situation for the concerned family.
Expressing their deep concern, a relative of Patience Madzorodze issued a heartfelt plea for assistance from the public.
“We are devastated by Patience’s disappearance and the circumstances surrounding it,” the relative stated. “We implore anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward and help us bring her home safely. Our family is in anguish, and we are desperate for any leads that could help us find her.”
The Madzorodze family is urging anyone with information regarding Patience Madzorodze’s whereabouts to contact the authorities and provide any details that could aid in the search for her.
