The committee has been tasked to raise at least US$500 000 for the expedition in Luanda.

The Warriors will travel for the final leg qualifier carrying a seemingly healthy 3-1 win secured from the first leg at Rufaro last on September 9.
Today will mark a week after the Mzansi90 committee was unveiled and yesterday the committee revealed that they were well on course to raising more than half a million dollars needed.
Yesterday Mbada Diamonds sunk in $200 000 into the coffers while Zifa president Cuthbert Dube gave US$10 000 as seed capital.
Chairperson of the Mzansi90 committee, George Manyaya, yesterday said they have also received pledges from some companies.
“The Mzansi90 team is for Zimbabwe and we are just the figureheads put there to raise the funds for the Angola game and we just want the Zimbabweans to know that we now have some funds.
“Zimbabwe has already qualified for Mzansi so we need to mobilise resources.
“We have a team in the Southern Region and everywhere in Zimbabwe and the corporate sector in Zimbabwe understands the need for this big support for the Warriors.
“We have had meetings and promises and I hope that by the end of the week, all Zimbabweans will be smiling and the guys will be motivated. As of today we can say that E-sport, who are the suppliers of the kit that they are using right now, have said that they will donate all the kits,” said Manyaya.
Manyaya also revealed that Led Car Rentals have pledged to provide a courtesy car for use by the team while Goldetch Electronics undertook to provide gadgets that could either be auctioned or raffled.
He said the committee was also hoping to host a dinner dance as part of the fund-raising scheme while some retails outlets have agreed to set up cash boxes in their shops where individuals could donate whatever amount they have. The Mzansi90 committee said they have also launched a massive marketing campaign to mobilise the funds.  
The committee said they have negotiated for a charter flight while Zifa board member for finance Elliot Kasu said they have opened up three bank accounts where corporates and individuals will deposit money.
Spokesperson for the committee, Hugo Ribatika, said the money in their coffers does not take into account the pledges that have been made.
The committee also revealed that they are accepting donations in cash or kind.
