NEW: Man kills cousin after being spooked by nightmare

POLICE in Nyanyadzi arrested a 29-year-old man, Patrick Dzavamwe, who axed and knifed his four-year-old cousin after waking up from a nightmare.

The grisly murder occurred on January 16 at Zvavamwe homestead, Svongwa village, Buhera, Manicaland province.

The man has since admitted to the offence.

Meanwhile, police in Chipinge are appealing for information which may assist in a case of murder, in which Peter Sithole Machaka (19) was found dead at Plot 13, Glendalough Farm.
