Nakamba an ever-present

ZIMBABWE international midfielder, Marvellous Nakamba lasted the entire game as Luton Town came from 0-2 down to draw 2-2 with Nottingham Forest in the English Premiership on Saturday.

The 29-year-old Nakamba has taken part in every one of the side’s nine Premier League games in 2023/2024, an ever-present feature by starting in all nine and has been shown three yellow cards.

Luton Town find themselves 17th in the league standings with five points and next face a trip to Aston Villa in Premier League action on October 29.

Nakamba played 20 Championship games last season for Luton Town.

He switched to Luton Town in July 2023 from Aston Villa, for whom he made 58 league appearances in total.  It was on September 16, 2019 that Nakamba made his Premier League debut during his spell at Aston Villa, aged 25 years and 240 days, against West Ham United. He debuted at Premier League level for current club Luton Town during his team’s encounter with Brighton & Hove Albion on August 12, 2023.

Overall, in his Premier League career, he has played 67 matches in the competition.
