Many may remember the group Nameless 263 who rocked radio with hit song “Party People” back in 2014.

They topped charts with great punchlines and witty rap.

Well, the duo of Rhyme Assassin (real name Tichaona Monera) and T9yce (real name Tendai Murasiranwa) have reconnected for a single titled “Pick My Life Up”.

The two defied borders, making use of new technologies in recording the song as Rhyme Assassin is now based in theUnited Kingdom and T9yce in Bulawayo.

Rhyme Assassin said the song was an encouragement to Zimbabweans facing different hardships.

“Pick My Life Up” carries the motivational message that no matter how low life can take you or kick you, you still need to pick your life up and keep going.

“This definitely echoes true in the current Zimbabwean economic climate where it has become harder to pursue one’s dreams,” he said.
