NBA finals live on ESPN

had a great time at the weekend, as there was plenty to enjoy on television including our ZBCTV. I don’t know how many of you are following the action/drama series called “Go Chanaiwa Go” every Sunday on ZBCTV.

Frankly speaking, I find the series enthralling and one good thing about it is that it shows how much the local film industry has improved over the last couple of years.
The Sunday’s episode of “Go Chanaiwa Go” was another roller-coaster of car chases and action as Detective Chanaiwa hunts down the criminals. In this particular episode what I found interesting was how the production team managed to clear Bishop Gaul Avenue to shoot the film. The avenue is one of the busiest roads in town and almost always prone to accidents.

I couldn’t believe it when I saw the crew and three cars racing along the road in high speeds. I still don’t know whether this was fiction or reality maybe I need to speak to the producers of the film and bring some of the behind-the-scenes of “Go Chanaiwa Go” on this column.

Enough of local productions, elsewhere on DStv, the countdown to the NBA Finals has begun. Basketball fans need to tune in to ESPN to watch the Western Conference Finals between Oklahoma City Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks in a best of seven contest live on ESPN on DStv Channel 230.
