The inaugural provincial dialogue has been scheduled for Mutare  today, bringing together Government officials, business leaders, investors and community representatives to explore opportunities for growth and address challenges in the region.

The provincial dialogues will be held under the theme: “Towards inclusive socio-economic transformation”.

They will serve as a platform for comprehensive discussions on crucial aspects shaping the provinces.

In an interview, acting forum executive secretary Mr Muzi Muzite noted that the agenda for the inaugural dialogue in Manicaland was carefully crafted to encapsulate the diverse facets of the province’s  economy.

Topics under discussion will include macroeconomic developments and implications to business, management of forestry resources in Manicaland and the opportunities and challenges, and the exploitation of mineral resources in Manicaland.

The National Economic Consultative Forum shall also be hosting several other interesting events during the year, including the infrastructure summit and expo as well as the annual National Agricultural Conference.

The conferences follow the successful hosting of the 2024 International Business Conference during the ZITF week in Bulawayo.
