Netball tournament scheduled for White City

THE Zimbabwe Netball Association (Zina) Bulawayo Province will this Saturday hold a pre-season tournament at White City Stadium.

Precious Mudenge, the provincial fixtures secretary, said registration for this open tournament will close on Saturday morning at the tournament venue.

“This is an open tournament for all Bulawayo netball-playing teams. Schools, tertiary institutions, social clubs, Christian league participants and Zina Bulawayo Province teams are all free to compete. This tournament is meant to get players and teams accustomed to each other before the start of the season,” said Mudenge.

She said the Zina Bulawayo Province League will start on April 30.

Zesa are the defending champions and Mudenge believes they will have a bigger number than last season’s 14.
