THIRTY-ONE confirmed cholera cases were recorded on Monday, according to latest data from the Ministry of Health and Child Care.
In a statement, the Ministry said the cases were reported from Buhera (23), Mutare City (four), Zaka (three) and Harare (one).
The country’s cumulative suspected cases had reached 4 761 cases as at Monday, with 4 578 recoveries and 30 deaths.
“The highest numbers of cholera cases have been reported in Manicaland with 2 223 and Harare 1 633,” reads part of the statement from the Ministry of Health and Child Care.
Cases of cholera-confirmed deaths have been recorded in Manicaland (22), Mashonaland Central (two), Harare (three), Mashonaland West (eight), and Masvingo (12), respectively.
