PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA has approved the appointment of ten experts as directors in the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development.
Permanent Secretary in the ministry Professor Obert Jiri announced the new developments.
The newly promoted include Dr Pious Makaya, who has been appointed chief director of the Directorate of Veterinary Services (DVS), a position previously held by Dr Josphat Nyika, who retired after a lengthy service with the Government.
Dr Sitokozile Sibanda takes over as director of the Livestock Production Department.
The remaining eight will now be substantive provincial directors countrywide.
Mr Dumisani Mbikwa (Nyoni Mat North), Mr Nhamo Mudada (Mash Central), Mr Leonard Munamati (Mash East), Mr Caleb Mahoya (Masvingo), Mrs Philipa Rwambiwa (Manicaland ), Mrs Medlinah Magwenzi (Midlands), Mrs Shupikai Sibanda (Mat South) and Ms Busiso Olga Mavankeni (Mash West).
