CABINET has approved the Principles of the Trafficking in Persons (Amendment) Bill, which seeks to strengthen the current legislation and broaden the definition of human trafficking.
Addressing Tuesday’s post-Cabinet briefing, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa said:
“The Bill will specify the repatriation of victims of trafficking to and from Zimbabwe and procedure for the identification of victims of trafficking and circumstances for the granting of a Temporary and Permanent Residence Permit.”
