FILMMAKER and video producer Dumisani Dube, better known as Boss Director, has once again shaken Zimbabwe’s creative scene, this time with the release of “Healer”, a collaboration between ExQ and Nutty O.
Following the success of Nutty O’s “Too Much” visuals, which dominated airwaves and digital platforms earlier this year, Boss Director returns with a cinematic masterpiece that is already being hailed as a benchmark in local visual production.
Far more than a conventional music video, “Healer” is structured as a short film, combining sleek set designs, rich symbolism and powerful storytelling to capture the song’s emotional depth.
“I am happy to be back with another masterpiece,” Boss Director said.

“On this project, I introduced a bold style that will set a new benchmark for Zimbabwean music videos.
“It is time our music and film industry gained recognition on the international stage.”
Known for his crisp storytelling and creative camera work, Boss Director has cemented his reputation as one of Zimbabwe’s leading filmmakers.
With two major projects in just a few months, many fans and insiders believe 2025 could be a defining year for his career.
As Zimbabwean music and film continue to grow, Boss Director is increasingly viewed as the bridge between raw talent and world-class visuals.
“Healer” underscores his vision that when creativity meets execution, art has the power to transcend borders and inspire a generation.
