NEW: Bottle store argument leads to murder, suspects on the run

A Shurugwi man was attacked with a plastic chair and fatally stabbed in the stomach by two men he was drinking with.

Thirty-five-year-old Future Ngwenya was murdered at a bottle store at Zviumwa Business Centre in Shurugwi on July 7, 2024.

The suspects — Trymore Mahuro (30) and Albert Gido (38) — are reportedly on the run.

“Police in Shurugwi are investigating a case of murder which occurred on July 7, 2024 at Zviumwa Business Centre,” reads part of the statement from the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
