BUDDING hip-hop artiste Tanatswa Kumirai, better known as Paintafresco, released a new track titled “Dare” on Tuesday.
The young muso described the song as “light-hearted and high energy, whose message is more serious than what first meets the ear”.
“It is a declaration of commitment to the art of music, where I promise to stick by it regardless of whatever obstacles or detractors I face,” he said.
The track is available on YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify, Audiomack and other digital streaming platforms.
Paintafresco broke onto the music scene with the song “Chando”.
The hip-hop artiste has been a curtain-raiser to some of the biggest African artistes like Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Boity and Nadia Nakai.
“I am releasing a love-centred five-track extended play (EP) in April, alongside a video for the track ‘Escaping Reality’,” he added.
