CONTEMPORARY musician Chipo Muchegwa has roped in Terry G for her latest love song titled “Ndezve Rudo”.
The collaboration, a first between the artistes, has rich lyrical content that resonates with the duo’s love stories in real life.
The track is accompanied by a well-choreographed video, which was produced by SAP Studios.
Terry G said their collaboration was meant to show the world that it takes talent to produce good content, and not one’s physical characteristics.
“What motivated us to collaborate was to show the world that people with disability have feelings and also want to be loved,” said Terry G.
He said the single was based on a true story, and it was a matter of art imitating life.
Muchegwa has been basking in the glory of endorsements.
She is on the verge of clinching a deal with a local bank that recently donated an electric wheelchair.
Muchegwa’s manager, Donald Ganyaupfu, said he was optimistic the musician was now ripe for a bigger stage.
“Chipo is not only talented but is a hard worker and goal-getter. When she sets her eyes on a prize, she goes for it, and we are only there to support her because we believe in her,” he said.
“She is also a role model for people with disability and dispels the notion that they cannot shine.”
