Gospel musician Everton Mlalazi was recently honoured by the Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division (SID) for his contribution to the gospel music industry.

SID is a sub-entity of the General Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, which coordinates the church’s activities in Southern Africa.

It is headquartered in Pretoria, South Africa.

“It really means a lot getting recognition by your own church and at a regional level.

“This means the church appreciates our contribution to music in the church and out of it,” said Mlalazi.

He also acknowledged his manager and family for their unwavering support.

“I also wish to acknowledge The Vine, Worship Therapy Band, RHI Media and my music production team, led by Nigel Nyangombe, for their contribution to my ministry,” he said.
