NEW: Corpse found hanging from a tree

POLICE are investigating a suspected murder case of 26-year-old Previous Muchena, whose body was found hanging from a tree in a bushy area in Mt Darwin, Mashonaland Central.

“Circumstances surrounding the case are that the victim, Previous Muchena (26), was found dead with wounds on (his) foot, shin and back on January 30, 2023 in a bushy area near Chiruma Business Centre,” said police in a statement.

In another suspected case of murder, police in Gweru are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of two unknown suspects who fatally attacked Innocent Hama (32) after allegedly asking for directions to Cress Village on January 30, 2023 near a Mission Business Centre.
