New deal for Nyadombo

DURBAN. — AmaZulu captain Carlington Nyadombo and midfielder Kulegani Madondo are set to renew their contracts with Usuthu before the transfer window closes on Friday.

Team manager Japhet Zwane says talks with the players’ representative Mike Makaab, from ProSport International, are at an advanced stage.

“We are in talks regarding extending both players’ contracts with their agent Mike Makaab, and we expect them to sign a new deal soon,” Zwane told KickOff.com.

The club is keen to reward Nyadombo, 29, for his loyalty. The Zimbabwean has made 109 appearances for the Durban-based side since joining them in 2010.

Madondo, 24, joined AmaZulu from regional rivals Maritzburg United in 2012, and has already played 57 times for the Absa Premiership strugglers.
