NEW: Diva Mafunga dies

Popular gospel singer Diva Mafunga has died.

Fellow artiste Munyaradzi Munodawafa told The Sunday Mail Online that Mafunga died in a car accident Tuesday afternoon.

“My heart is bleeding now. About a few minutes ago I received some sad news that my fellow brother, Diva Mafunga, is no more after he was involved in a car accident this afternoon,” he said.

Another famous singer Michael Mahendere also confirmed the untimely death of the gospel musician.

“I am mourning my brother (Diva Mafunga) right now. I have received the news from his relatives some few minutes ago,” he said.
