NEW: Human skull found at farm

Police in Chegutu have discovered a human skull at Rockridge Farm, along Muchenarota River.

Among particulars recovered scattered a few metres from the skull, was an identification card (ID) belonging to Jafeti White.

In a statement on their Twitter handle, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said the skull was slightly covered in mud on the riverbed.

“A khaki trousers with a black belt, blue and white striped t-shirt, blue jersey and one black shoe were recovered, while scattered a few metres from the skull.

“The clothes were searched and a Zimbabwean National Identity Card in the name of Jafeti White and a torn US$10 were recovered from the trousers’ pockets,” reads part of the communique.

Police are investigating the case.
