KWAYEDZA will on Friday host a Shona literary engagement session aimed at bringing together learners, teachers and literature enthusiasts for an interactive discussion with renowned Zimbabwean author Bornventure Honzeri.
The programme, dubbed “Sanganayi ne Munyori”, will be held at Herald House in Harare from 10am to noon and will focus on Honzeri’s set book “Ndinofa Ndaedza”.
Honzeri, the author of the prescribed Shona literature text, is expected to unpack the book’s themes and characters while responding to questions from students and other participants.
The initiative is also expected to benefit aspiring writers, with the programme providing an opportunity for budding authors to gain insights into storytelling and the craft of writing.
According to Kwayedza, the event is open to students, teachers, book clubs and other literature lovers.
The programme was designed to create a platform where readers could engage directly with authors and gain a deeper understanding of prescribed literary works.
Attendance has been pegged at US$15, with participants required to register and make payments through EcoCash merchant code 33636.
