FORMER World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver champion Charles Manyuchi says he might fight in Zambia before hanging up his gloves.

The boxer announced his plans to retire early this year.

He has already fought in Chivhu as part of a series of “Good Bye” bouts.

The 33-year-old pugilist has a fight in Bulawayo on October 28, after which he will move to Harare for another match against Jimmy Mabundji of the Democratic Republic of Congo on November 25.

“I have plans for another fight in Zambia where, as you know, I was groomed into the boxer that I became,” said Manyuchi.

The Zimbabwean boxer made his name in Zambia under Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions.

Under the boxing stable, he rose from an African Boxing Union champion to a WBC Silver welterweight champion in 2016.
