FORMER boxing champion Charles Manyuchi will fight two matches in seven days as part of his farewell bouts.

The star pugilist will celebrate his 34th birthday in the ring when he takes on Gift Gogodo of Malawi in a non-title fight in Chivhu on November 18.

He will then square up against Jimmy Mabundji in Harare on November 25.

“All is set for the fight in Chivhu, where I am celebrating my birthday,” said Manyuchi.

“Yes, the schedule will be tight but I have to give my fans some lasting moments in both fights.

“At this juncture, I am even prepared to have two fights in two days, because this is a way of saying thank you to my legion of fans.”

Manyuchi — a former World Boxing Council Silver welterweight and World Boxing Federation middleweight champion —announced his retirement earlier in May.
