NEW: Mpofu, Chimombe trial set for October

Moses Mpofu and Mike Chimombe have been indicted to the High Court for trial on October 1 to 4 on a continuous roll on charges of fraudulently getting a US$7,2m tender to supply goats under the Presidential Goat Pass-On Scheme.

The pair was indicted on Wednesday when they appeared before magistrate Mrs Marehwanazvo Gofa.

The State, led by Mr Anesu Chirenje, told the court that investigations have been completed and the two have been served with all documents to prepare for trial.
