NEW: Seedco donates 11 000 vaccines

Seed-Co has donated 11 000 vaccines to Government for the inoculation of agriculture extension workers across the country.

The donation was received on behalf of President Mnangagwa by Minister of Local Government and Public Works July Moyo.

The vaccines will be administered by CIMAS to the extension workers.

Said the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works in a statement:

“On behalf of His Excellency, The President Dr ED Mnangagwa, Local Government Minister Honourable July Moyo yesterday received 11 000 vaccines procured by Seed-Co to be administered by CIMAS.

“The initially targeted group will be extension workers around the country.”

Seed-Co is one of a number of local companies that have been complementing Government’s Covid-19 vaccine rollout.
