NEW: SONA address scheduled for Thursday

President Mnangagwa will deliver the State of the Nation Address (SONA) address on Thursday when he officially opens the Fourth Session of the Ninth Parliament.

In a statement, the Parliament of Zimbabwe said the President will address the nation and pronounce the legislative agenda for the session.

“His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Dr E.D Mnangagwa, will officially open the Fourth Session of the Ninth Parliament on 7th October 2021, as well as deliver the State of the Nation Address in which he will set the legislative agenda for the session.”
