Gradwell, affectionately known as “Muroora weku Zim”, touched down at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport today, where she was received by festival organisers and fans.

Speaking on arrival, she said she was excited to be back in Zimbabwe.

“I am really excited to be in Zimbabwe, and as long as I am still black, I will continue to support African countries and obviously expecting lots of love from Zimbabwean people,” she said.

Gradwell is known for her deep love and promotion of Zimbabwean culture, music and languages, building a massive following on TikTok and Facebook with cross-cultural content that bridges South African and Zimbabwean communities.

She is among high-profile guests expected at the second edition of the festival.

The festival is presented by Nyaradzo Group and Sahwira Events and Lifestyle and hosted by Dereck “Yemukono” Mpofu.

The programme will also feature Dare/Padare dialogues bringing together chiefs, elders, cultural custodians, youth, artists and members of the diplomatic community.
