NEW: Two perish along Gokwe-Siabuwa Road

Two people died while four others were injured after an accident involving an Isuzu KB truck and a Yutong bus at the 54-kilometre peg along Gokwe-Siabuwa Road.

In a statement on Tuesday, police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the bus was ferrying more than 20 passengers.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) reports a fatal road traffic accident in which two people died while four others were injured when an Isuzu KB280 vehicle with 15 passengers on board side-swiped with a Yutong bus with 23 passengers on board on July 31, 2022 at the 54km peg along Gokwe-Siabuwa Road,” he said.
Police will release more details soon.
