NEW: UZ represent Zim at the Enactus World Cup

The University of Zimbabwe Enactus National Champion team is in Kazakhstan for the prestigious Enactus World Cup.

The event, which started today ending on Friday, is a global convergence of innovative minds and young social innovators drawn from 35 countries.

Speaking during the send-off ceremony hosted by Delta Corporation Limited in Harare recently, Delta Corporation Limited Corporate Affairs Officer Kissmore Murandu said the programme will feature renowned business and academic leaders who will engage with participants.

“The national champion this year is the University of Zimbabwe which was crowned at the local Enactus Zimbabwe National Competition, which was held in July at the Celebration Centre with over 250 delegates in attendance,” he said.

“The Enactus World Cup offers a unique platform for networking with global leaders and top executives.

“Past events have been graced by distinguished guests such as the former United States of America Secretary of State Ms. Condoleezza Rice and former African Union Chairperson Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, underscoring the high calibre of participants and speakers involved.”
