VICE PRESIDENT Kembo Mohadi today visited Liberation City in Warren Park, Harare, to assess progress on the ongoing construction of the Museum of African Liberation.
The museum, situated on a 103-hectare site about 7km west of Harare’s city centre, along Samora Machel Avenue, stands as a tribute to Africa’s liberation struggles and heroes.

Liberation City will feature a range of developments including a five-star hotel, amusement and theme parks, an animal park, a heritage village and several national monuments.

Once complete, the project is expected to become a major family friendly attraction for local, regional and international tourists, blending history, heritage and leisure in one iconic destination.
