THE exhibition of high-quality products and the huge presence of Zimbabwean companies at the 2023 Global Expo Botswana, which kicked off here on Wednesday, has charmed President Mokgweetsi Masisi.

Twenty-three local companies drawn from different sectors of the economy are exhibiting their goods and services at the expo, as they seek to use the platform to expand their footprint.

President Masisi, who officially opened the conference earlier with a call to scale up regional cooperation to unlock Africa’s economic transformation, conducted a tour of exhibition stands, including Zimbabwe.

He engaged with several exhibitors and was particularly impressed by leather and agricultural products, as well as the value-addition thrust shown by Zimbabwean firms.

The expo will run until Saturday.
