The trio of Moses Tarakinyu, Blessing Waison and Tendai Zimuto will be in action this Sunday when they compete in marathon events.

Tarakinyu and Waison will be part of the field at the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, while Zimuto will be up against some of the top marathon runners in the world at the TCS Amsterdam Marathon.

With the World Athletics Championships scheduled for next year, they will be hoping to improve their times and also look at their chances of meeting the entry standards during this qualification period.

The qualification window for marathon closes on May 4, 2025.
