One of the organisers of the event Mduduzi Mdlongwa said they decided to bring Eemoh as it was not fair to his fans — for him to perform in Gwanda only. He said they had to go an extra mile for him to also make an appearance in the city of Kings.

“Eemoh is a huge artiste both in South Africa and Zimbabwe —where he commands a massive following, especially in Matabeleland. As he will be performing in Gwanda on August 30, we decided to rope him in for a show in Bulawayo on August 31.

Organiser of the Gwanda show DJ Keitho, said Eemoh will arrive at the Joshua Mqabuko International Airport in Bulawayo on August 30.

He said the gig will signal the return of high-quality live music experiences to Gwanda.

“We are thrilled to be hosting Eemoh as he is our first main act this year. After this event we’ll be hosting regular shows as the summer season begins.

“More regional acts will follow, and as always, we’ll use the opportunity to promote local artistes so they can mingle and network with renowned acts on and off the stage,” said DJ Keitho.
