THANDOLWENKOSI Ngwenya is off to a flying start at South African side Amazulu, scoring a brilliant brace in their 3–2 win over Golden Arrows in the KZN Premier Cup pre-season clash.
The Warriors forward, who lit up this month’s COSAFA Cup with two goals before Zimbabwe’s early exit, proved once again that he’s the real deal and a serious problem for defenders.
Ngwenya’s COSAFA heroics caught the eye of Usuthu, who beat off stiff competition from local big spenders Scottland FC to land the talented striker.
Now with two goals on debut, the 23-year-old is already paying dividends and Amazulu fans are loving every second of it.
Can Ngwenya become Usuthu’s new golden boy? Watch this space.
